Nimbeaux’s Dockside Dressing


  • 2 lbs of shrimp
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup of corn starch
  • Paprika
  • 1/2 lb of crab meat
  • 2 sticks of margarine
  • 2 T of Nimbeaux's Seafood Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cup of chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup of red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup of green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup of green onion tops

In a magnalite pot melt margarine. Add shrimp and 2 T Nimbeaux's Seafood Seasoning.

Cook over medium-high heat about 5 minutes. (until shrimp have rendered their juices)

Add onions & peppers. Bring back to a boil, cover pot and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, add corn starch to water and mix well. After 10 minutes, add water & corn starch mixture to seafood and continue to cook uncovered about 5 more minutes.

Add paprika to get desired color. Add crab meat and onion tops. Cook 5 minutes longer.

Mix with cooked rice.

Top with desired bronzed seafood.
