Dee’s Drunk Chicken

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole roasting chicken or fryer
  • Your favorite seasoning or “rub”
  • BBQ sauce optional
  • 12 oz. beer – amber or dark
  • 1 chicken “stand”
  • 2 cups wood chips or chunks

Tasty Tips

  • Maintain heat – 350 degrees
  • Beer must boil
  • Allow 20 – 25 minutes per pound
  • Internal heat 170 degrees – 180 degrees when done
  • Juices will turn “clear”
