(St. Martinville, La)-Narcotics Agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office arrested two individuals following an anonymous tip about possible drug activity at a residence off of Main Hwy., in Parks. After receiving the tip, Agents initiated an investigation and obtained a search warrant based on the intelligence gathered from the investigation. Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, the search warrant was executed at the residence and three meth labs were discovered. Three children ranging in age from 4 months to 8 years of age, were discovered in the residence at the time of the arrests. All three children were taken to a local hospital to be examined due to their potential exposure to the hazardous chemicals located in the residence. All of the children were medically cleared.
Heather Marie Cormier, 28, Parks, La., and Christopher Wayne Romero, 20, Parks, La., were arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:
