Search efforts resumed Thursday for the man who's been missing for more than two weeks now.
But this time, they have more help. Dale LaFleur was last seen more than two weeks ago leaving his home in Port Barre.
Thursday, crews used cadaver dogs to search the woods after someone reported a foul smell.
Today though, crews used a remote controlled boat with sonar to search underwater in Bayou Courtableu.
Investigators say they're using anything they can to find the missing man.
“We just have our detectives are still looking into and talking to different people and trying to get some idea as to where, when, why or where Mr. Lafleur might be” Captain Gerald Darbonne.
The sonar equipped boat was created by a search and rescue officer from the Patterson Police.
If you know where Dale LaFleur is, call 948-TIPS.
