UL Lafayette’s Bike Path Now Open

It's officially open UL Lafayette's bike path is just the first phase of the university's plan to promote alternative means of transportation, and also to unify the main campus and the surrounding UL Lafayette Property. The new, two-mile path begins at the Ira Nelson Horticulture Center on Johnston Street and continues down Cajundome Boulevard to Eraste Landry Road. Funds for the construction of the path came from a one million dollar grant from the state department of transportation and development.
