Running of the Ducks Winners

LAFAYETTE, LA – Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana held the 22nd Annual Great Acadiana Running of the Ducks, this past Saturday, March 31st  at Red Lerille's.

This year was our best yet. Thousands of ducks took the plunge in Red Lerille's outdoor pool. Our net profit was $88,000. There was a huge turn-out the day of the event.  Those that attended enjoyed the Josh Taylor Band, a DJ, along with food and drinks from local businesses.

This event was held to raise money to keep the Boys & Girls Clubs operating and help our members.

We would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to Red Lerille and all of our sponsors who pulled together to make this an exciting and successful event.  The Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana would like to give a very special thank you to Sharon Moss and Moss Motors for all their help and donation of a Honda Civic automobile for our grand prize.
