A man has pleaded guilty to fraud charges. Vincent Edward DaPrince faces up to 25 years in prison from stealing $1 million in food stamp benefits. He is charged with one count of food stamp fraud and one count of wire fraud. DaPrince was authorized to participate in the Department of Agriculture's food stamp program. Prosecutors say that DaPrince swiped program recipients' “electronic benefit transfer” cards and provided them with a discounted portion of the cash proceeds, but he deposited the full amount into his own bank account. Vincent Edward DaPrince pleaded guilty Thursday.
