PLAQUEMINE, La. (AP) – A Baton Rouge man faces charges of killing two men whose bodies were found early Monday in a vehicle parked in a field off La. 1 in Plaquemine.
Harry Prater, 30, was booked Wednesday into the Iberville Parish Jail on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of obstruction of justice in the slayings of Ronald Anthony Harrell, a 38-year-old from Baton Rouge, and Junius Dedrick, 46-year-old from Ventress.
Prater's girlfriend, Brandi Singleton, 29, of Baton Rouge was booked on one count of obstruction of justice.
The charges were announced Friday by Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi.
