AMITE, La. (AP) – The new 21,000-square-foot Tangipahoa Parish Library is scheduled to formally open on Saturday.
The Daily Star reports (http://bit.ly/PPTZ65) an open house is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Library Director Barry Bradford says the $4.6 million library will house 45,000 items including books, books on CDs and DVDs.
