Authorities in St. Landry Parish arrested 25 year old Rhondale Willis of Opelousas for allegedly kidnapping and beating a woman before he dropped her off at her own home.
St. Landry Sheriff's Office Spokesperson, Captain Megan Vizena said, “Rhondale Willis was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail and is facing charges of simple battery and kidnapping.”
On November 28, the Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding a victim that had been forced into a vehicle against her will. The deputies observed obvious injuries to the victim's face and hands.
After an investigation, it was discovered that Rhondale Willis forcefully took the victim from her residence and physically beat her in his car. After the accused drove around with the victim in his car, he brought her back to her residence as if nothing happened.
He was later located by deputies and charged with simple kidnapping and simple battery. Willis is currently being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail with no bond.
