SYNOPSIS – Merry Christmas! A potent storm system will move through Acadiana today, giving us a chance of severe storms, so storms will be likely today. The threat will end this evening. Highs will be in the mid 70s, then a cold front will move through tonight, knocking temperatures down into the upper 30s to low 40s overnight. We will see a partly cloudy sky tomorrow with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. The next rain chance will return Friday.
