SYNOPSIS – Merry Christmas! A potent storm system will move through Acadiana today, giving us a chance of severe storms, so storms will be likely today. The threat will end this evening. Highs will be in the mid 70s, then a cold front will move through tonight, knocking temperatures down into the upper 30s to low 40s overnight. We will see a partly cloudy sky tomorrow with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. The next rain chance will return Friday.

TODAY – Showers and storms highly likely, some could be strong to severe. High near 75° Winds S at 15-25 mph

TONIGHT – Rain ends early, partly cloudy. Low near 39°. Winds SW-NW at 15-20 mph

TOMORROW – Partly cloudy, cool and windy. High near 50° Winds N at 15-25 mph
