For the fourth year in row, Lafayette attorney Glenn Armentor is “paying-it-forward” to Acadiana students planning to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette or South Louisiana Community College.
Through his annual scholarship program, Armentor and his committee of education and community leaders select four recipients from hundreds of applicants.
The students chosen face the most dire and adverse situations that would lead most astray, but these students still manage to achieve academic excellence.
Armentor planned to give four scholarships, but increased that number to five after interviewing the students who represent high schools throughout Acadiana.
Congratulations to Gabrielle Vincent and Krislyn Romero of Erath High, Nicole Templet of Acadiana High, Samantha Watson of Ovey Comeaux High, and Dillion Freddie of Crowley High School.
