The local gaming and digital media industry is harnessing a lot of talent and this coming Saturday that talent will be showcased at the 2nd annual Independent Games Festival.
The festival known as iFEST, is expected to be bigger and better than last year. The one day event encourages people to foster and celebrate independent game development within Lafayette and around Louisiana.
According to one of their sponsors Josh Brannen, with the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, the festival will have a lot of independent developers from all over the state. Showcasing the latest and greatest in game creations where everyone can test out their games.
The Independent Games Festival is this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; it's free to the public and will be held at the LITE center in Lafayette.
