The Supriya Jindal Foundation announced the awarding of interactive technology and tablets at Immaculate Heart of Mary School Wednesday morning.

The award means that each first second and third grade classroom will receive a laptop, four tablets, interactive whiteboard, and an interactive response system that will allow students to actively participate in the lesson.

To date the foundation has awarded interactive whiteboard systems to over 350 classrooms across Louisiana.

The classroom tools will support teachers as they develop technology based lessons, engage students with hands on learning experiences and set students up for a successful future.
