BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) – Two Louisiana community college chancellors are among four finalists to be the next president of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System.
The system's search committee announced the list Thursday, after conducting interviews of seven candidates for the job.
James Henderson, chancellor of Bossier Parish Community College, and Monty Sullivan, chancellor of Delgado Community College in New Orleans, are among the finalists. Also contenders are Deborah Blue, chancellor of the State Center Community College District in California, and Marie Gnage, president of West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The finalists will be interviewed Jan. 29 by the LCTCS Board of Supervisors at a public meeting in Baton Rouge.
The board is searching for a successor to Joe May, who is leaving to become chancellor of the Dallas County Community College District.
