The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office kicked off Thursday dark and early, rounding up seven of the parish's suspected drug offenders.
St. Landry deputies and marshals, along with four city police departments in the parish began rounding up the alleged drug dealers shortly after 3 a.m.
This roundup was a product of many hours of undercover purchases by narcotic agents and hundreds of hours of surveillance.
The officers were able to seize around $5,000 worth of drugs and currency.
Seven suspects were arrested, but eleven are still at large.
