One man is dead after a late night two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Lafayette.
Lafayette Police responded to a call regarding a two-vehicle accident near exit 103B on I-10 westbound around 11:30pm Thursday night.
According to Lafayette Police, the two vehicles involved in the incident included a Honda sedan and an 18-wheeler.
The driver of the big rig told police he was driving along the interstate when he felt a bump underneath the semi-truck. When he pulled over, the driver saw the Honda stuck beneath the 18-wheeler.
The 45-year-old male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name will not be released until authorities notify the next of kin.
