Lafayette police have arrested two suspects in connection with 32 cases of felony criminal damage to property.
Beginning on February 1, through March 11, the two suspects are alleged to have damaged 32 vehicles by shooting the vehicle's windows with a pellet gun. The incidents occurred during the nighttime hours on the Southwest side of Lafayette.
17-year-old Niles Menard and 17-year-old Cordero Slores, both of Lafayette, were arrested and charged with 32 counts of felony criminal damage to property.
Detectives estimate the total damage cost in excess of $16,000. The investigation remains ongoing.
