The Junior League of Lafayette is providing young people a realistic look at the consequences of drinking and driving, by hosting the 11th annual No Fear No Future mock crash.
The mock accident was staged at Teurlings High School Thursday morning.
Junior League leaders say getting students to make good decisions when they get in a vehicle is their primary goal.
One father spoke to News 10 about his daughter who played the role of the girl who dies in the drunk driving accident. More than ten thousand students have been impacted by the no fear no future program.
The league has moved on to focus not only on drinking and driving, but on impaired and distracted driving as well as promoting responsible decision making.
