Thursday morning, April 10, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office was called out to W. W. Lewis Middle School in Sulphur in regard to a student who may possibly be bringing a handgun onto campus.
Detectives learned that after school on Wednesday, students reported to the assistant principal that a 14 year old male student had brought a gun to school and was showing it to other students.
