Lafayette, LA – On May 18, 2014, at approximately 3:20 am, a residential burglary occurred on Brookside Drive in Lafayette. The suspects entered the residence and stole a television, game console and a credit card. Approximately 20 minutes after the burglary the stolen credit card was used at a convenience store in the 1100 block of North University Avenue. Video surveillance captured the picture of a person of interest that may have knowledge of the use of the credit card.
Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male subject captured in the video. Anyone with information as to the identity of the person of interest is encouraged to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
