During the foot pursuit, officers observed the suspect through a gun from his person. This firearm was recovered and the suspect was taken into custody. The firearm was discovered to have been stolen from a Crowley resident.

“During the search of the suspect, numerous narcotics were recovered along with currency” stated Chief Gibson.

Officers arrested Quinlan Moore, 24, of Crowley. Moore was charged with PWITD Marijuana (18.1 grams), PWITD Crack Cocaine (8 grams), Monies Derived from Drug Proceeds, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Illegal Carrying of a Firearm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest and Obstruction of Justice.
