Third home invasion suspect arrested

US Marshals have arrested a New Iberia man following an investigation of a home invasion back in June. 25-year-old Arneze Jack of New Iberia was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder and home invasion.

The arrest was in connection to a home invasion back on June 13th when Jack and two others entered a home in the 300 block of Fontelieu Drive in New Iberia and shot one of the residents inside.

The other two suspects were arrested a week after the incident. Jack was booked into the Iberia Parish

Third Suspect Sought in Home Invasion

June 20, 2014 – Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal reports a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Arneze Jack, 25 years of age, in connection with the home invasion which occurred on the evening of June 13, 2014 in the 300 block of Fontelieu Drive in New Iberia.  Jack is wanted on charges of Home Invasion and Attempted First Degree Murder.  Jack is described as a black male, 5’10” weighing approximately 160 pounds.  Anyone with information concerning the location of Jack is urged to contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-369-3711.  Callers may remain anonymous.
