NATCHITOCHES PARISH, LA (KSLA) –
A Natchitoches man is being charged with his sixth DWI after allegedly driving the wrong way on I-49 with his children in the vehicle.
Deputies were able to stop the 2006 Ford SUV on I-49 near the Waterwell exit just south of Natchitoches. Deputies identified the driver as 33-year-old Ricky Anthony Simmons Jr. Kyla Lee Honeycutt, 37, and two small children, ages 4 and 5, were also in the vehicle.

Honeycutt was also arrested and charged with two counts of child desertion.
