A California man pleaded guilty today to making a threat about a school shooting in Church Point.
In December 2012, the day after the sandy hook school shooting massacre, Randall Swanson sent an online message to a person he believed was from Church Point. Swanson wrote the next school massacre would happen in your town and sent pictures indicating he was in Church Point. He later admitted he sent the messages from California and wanted to alarm the person he was messaging.
The 54-year-old faces five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a 250,000 dollar fine.
