Candace Gulotta-Haggart has been hired as the development director for Festival International de Louisiane. As development director, Gulotta-Haggart will be in charge of sponsorships, fundraising events and the festival’s donor programs, Amis du Festival and Rain Angels.
“I am thrilled and honored to be joining such a prestigious organization.” Gulotta-Haggart said in a press release. “Lafayette is such a vibrant and creative community and I look forward to working with the Festival International team to continue the great work and wonderful traditions Festival has created over the past 30 years.”
Gulotta-Haggart joins the festival after serving as director of development and special projects at New Cardiovascular Horizons Foundation in Lafayette. A native of Plaquemine, she is a graduate of LSU in mass communications.
Gulotta-Haggart has worked in event coordination for HBO’s “Treme” in New Orleans, production management for Accent on Arrangements and various music industry events in Austin, Texas and Los Angeles.
Besides serving as chairman for the MadHatter’s Luncheon, Gulotta-Haggart is a board member of the Acadiana Symphony Women’s League and Generation ASO, a young professionals organization. She resides in Lafayette with her husband and daughter.
