BOSTON (WWLP) – An intoxicated woman on board a British Airways flight was restrained after attempting to open an exit door Tuesday.

According to Massachusetts State Police, the incident happened on British Airways Flight 213 from London to Boston.

The department originally tweeted that a woman had tried to gain entry to the cockpit. After the flight landed safely at Logan International Airport around 1:30 p.m., state police took the passenger into custody and investigated the situation. It was determined the woman was intoxicated and attempted to open an exit door.
