BRENHAM, Tx. – If you’ve been missing Blue Bell ice cream, you can get your fix here in Louisiana in just about four weeks.

The company announced that it would begin ‘phase four,’ of its reopening process, which will have deliveries to Louisiana and Jackson, Mississippi, starting on Dec. 21.

“We are excited to announce phase four and look forward to expanding our distribution area,” said Ricky Dickson, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Bell. “Our customers have shown great patience over the past several months and we cannot thank them enough.”

The initial flavors available in Louisiana will be limited to five – Buttered Pecan, Cookies ‘n Cream, Dutch Chocolate, Homemade Vanilla and the Great Divide, which is half chocolate and half vanilla.

The company recently reopened its main plant in Brenham, Texas and said it hopes to expand its offering of flavors soon.
