A man who has been accused of killing a woman has waived extradition and will be returning to Lafayette in the next few days, according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Miles Guidry, 27, of Duson, was accused of killing Claire Christine Walley, 26, after her body was found inside her home on the 400 block of Lagneaux Road. Guidry was arrested by the Glendale Colorado Police Department when he was found asleep in his vehicle.
Guidry will be booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the charge of second-degree murder, according to LPSO.
Details on Walley’s death are being withheld by the Lafayette Coroner’s Office pending investigation.
