ORIGINAL: A head-on crash Saturday morning north of Sulphur left two people dead and another seriously injured.
Shortly after 4:00 a.m., Louisiana State Police Troop D responded to a two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 27 north of Houston River Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on LA 27 when the driver, 22-year-old Alejandro Delgado of Sulphur, crossed the centerline of the highway in a no passing zone.
The Chevrolet then collided with a southbound 2011 Kia Sorento head-on.
