Water Boil Advisory issued for Plaisance Water System customers

A system-wide boil advisory has been issued for customers of the Plaisance Water System.

According to a press release, low system pressure caused by electrical power loss is the reason the advisory has been issued.

As a reminder, affected customers are urged to boil their water for one full minute in a clean container before consumption.

The Plaisance Water System will rescind the advisory upon notification from the Louisiana DHH that the water is safe to consume.
