An explosion in New York’s Central Park injured one person Sunday.
The man was reportedly climbing on rocks in the park when he stepped on something that exploded.
A New York City Fire Department representative said the man suffered a “partial amputation” of one of his legs. He was taken to Bellevue hospital.
It is not known what caused the explosion.
The explosion occurred near where the funeral of Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel was being held.
