Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office searching for suspect in Egan armed robbery

EGAN, La. (KLFY) – The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to an armed robbery in Egan.

The robbery happened on July 1, 2016 just after 11:00 a.m. in the 100 block of Bocage Road in Egan.

According to Sheriff K.P. Gibson, the male suspect was captured on video surveillance and is described as a black male, dressed in a black hoodie and pants and white shoes.

He was last seen fleeing in an early 90’s 2 door Nissan Sentra that may be missing the driver side headlight.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is urged to call Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers at 789-TIPS.

All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
