Lafayette Sheriff’s deputies seeking identity of armed robbery suspect

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)— Sheriff’s Deputies seek the identity of a man who allegedly robbed a Dollar General store.

A spokesperson for the Lafayette Sheriff’s Office tells KLFY that yesterday around 9:23 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the Dollar General in the 1200 block of Carmel Drive.

The attendant told deputies that she had been robbed at gunpoint by a male, who was approximately 5’10” weighing about 150 pounds.

In surveillance footage, the suspect is seen wearing a white t-shirt, camouflage pants, and gray tennis shoes.
