State Police say Bossier City teen located safely

BOSSIER CITY, La (KLFY)- Authorities say Joseph Allen LaCour has been located and is safe.

Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory

July 21, 2016

BOSSIER CITY, LA – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory on behalf of the Bossier City Police Department for a 16-year-old autistic child.  The child was reported missing at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016, and is missing from his residence on Riverwood Loop in Bossier City.

The child, Joseph Allen LaCour, is a 16-year-old black male with short, curly black hair and brown eyes.  He is approximately 5’4” tall and weighs about 130 pounds.  He is believed to be wearing a black jacket, gray tennis shoes with red laces and carrying a black backpack with lime green zippers.  Joseph is non-verbal and has a cleft lip and palate.  Caution should be used when approaching Joseph.  He is non-violent but will likely run away.

Anyone having any information as to the whereabouts of Joseph Allen LaCour should immediately contact the Bossier City Police Department at 318-741-8697 or 911.
