East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputy Nick Tullier was critically injured during the ambush on police in Baton Rouge on July 17, 2016.
He’s been at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge ever since.
Today, he’s still in critical condition and his family is asking the public to continue to pray for his recovery.
41-year-old Tullier was one of six officers shot during the ambush.
Three of them died. Tullier was hit by three bullets in the head, abdominal region and upper arm.
Doctors have done several surgeries in an attempt to repair the damage.
The deputy’s father wrote quote “Nick is still fighting” and “our only hope is a miracle.”
