GUEYDAN, La. (KLFY)  Residents who voluntarily left their homes in Gueydan due to rising flood waters in the Vermilion Parish community can now return to their homes to assess any damages, that’s according to Rebecca Broussard, the Director of Emergency Preparedness for Vermilion Parish.

Two Schools in the Gueydan area will be closed Monday as a result of flood damage.
