Hundreds of Seminarians helped flood victims clean out their homes this weekend in St. Martinville. News Tens Emily Giangreco has the story.
From St. Martinville all the way to Baton Rouge Seminarians entered the homes of flood victims ready to lend a helping hand.
They helped tear down walls, pull up floors, and clean up the mess that was left behind from the flood.
Blake Dubroc is one of the Seminarians who helped organize the event. He says its an emotional process seeing the devastation first hand.
Once a month the Seminarians get a weekend off and they decided to spend this free weekend helping out the Acadiana community.
