OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY)— Three more suspects were arrested for their alleged involvement in an August 26, after football game party in Leonville.
That’s according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz who said that St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Justin Randel, De’Courion S. Sam, and Trevon Brooks.
Authorities said the party involved juveniles being sold alcohol.
During the party, deputies said a fight broke out which caused two juveniles to be hospitalized. One teen suffered a broken jaw and had to undergo surgery, the other received a cut over his eye requiring stitches.
Detectives have now arrested a total of six suspects which they believe were involved in the incident and a spokesperson with sheriff’s office said deputies currently have outstanding warrants on three additional suspects.
Justin Randel, 21, of Opelousas was charged with second-degree battery. His bond was set at $4,000.
De’Courion S. Sam, 19, of Washington was charged with second-degree battery. His bond was set at $4,000.
Trevon Brooks, 18, of Carencro was charged with simple battery. His bond was set at $2,000.
