Troop A Traffic Advisory
Interstate 10 westbound has been reopened at LA 415. All crashed vehicles have been removed from the scene.
UPDATE from Louisiana State Police Troop A:
Emergency crews have separated the crashed 18-wheelers and will now work on opening the left lane of I-10 westbound at the crash scene to allow traffic stopped behind the crash to flow through.
I-10 westbound will remain closed at LA 415. Westbound traffic on I-10 will continue to be diverted to US 190 westbound. Please avoid the area.
RAMAH, La. (KLFY) – I-10 West is currently closed at the Lobdell exit due to a crash involving two 18-wheelers and hazardous materials that happened two miles east of Whiskey Bay, according to Louisiana State Police.
Master Trooper Brooks David said Troopers are on the scene with fire and rescue crews.
State Police say no hazardous materials have leaked at this time but emergency crews are still working to extricate one of the drivers trapped inside of the cab of his 18-wheeler with moderate injuries.
Westbound traffic on I-10 is being diverted at LA 415 to US 190 westbound.
