One arrested, nearly 1 pound of marijuana off the streets of Mire

MIRE, La. (KLFY)— One has been arrested and nearly one pound of marijuana is now off the streets after deputies check on a suspicious vehicle, authorities said.

According to a news release, on Sept. 26, Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office observed a suspicious vehicle in the Mire Community on Grand Prairie Highway.

A spokesperson with the Sheriff’s Office said a deputy stopped to check on the vehicle and smelled Marijuana.

Nearly one pound of Marijuana was recovered, according to a news release.

Jamie Logan, 25, of Rayne Louisiana was arrested and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
