Romacelli Bistro cooks Cajun Chicken Pasta in the Passe Partout kitchen

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Romacelli Bistro stopped by the Passe Partout kitchen to cook Cajun Chicken Pasta.

Here’s the recipe:


Butter – 4 Tbls

Chicken Breast – 16oz grilled and cooled and sliced

Salt & Pepper to taste

Chopped Garlic – 2 Tbls

Jalapenos – ½ Cup

Red Onion Sliced – ½ Cup

Alfredo Sauce – 2 Cups

Cooked Penne Pasta – 8 Cups

In hot skillet melt butter, and chicken and heat for about 60 seconds.  Once chicken is hot add red onions, jalapeños and garlic and sauté until soft.  Add Alfredo sauce and heat until it comes to a simmer.  Add cooked pasta, tossing to incorporate sauce ingredients evenly until pasta is heated entirely, salt and pepper to taste.  Garnish with parsley and shaved parmesan cheese.
