A 28-year-old Virginia man was arrested, and has appeared in court after tweets threatening to shoot 3 GOP senators “in the face.”

Kyler Schmitz, of Virginia, pleaded guilty to one count of making threatening interstate communications, according to a report from The Washington Post.

The tweets, directed at Sens. Roy Blunt (Mo.), John Hoeven (N.D.) and David Vitter (R-La.), were sent after 49 people were killed at a gay nightclub in Orlando.  “I’m going to shoot you in the head for allowing someone to murder my loved ones,” read one the tweets, according to the report.
Per Schmitz’s plea agreement, the government will recommend a sentence of no more than six months.  He remains free on bond under several conditions.
