Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office hosting free ACT prep class for local high school students

CROWLEY, La. (KLFY)— The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a free ACT Prep Class for all interested high school students, according to officials.

Sheriff K.P. Gibson will host the free Prep Class on October 15 at the Sheriff’s Office in Crowley (1037 Capitol Avenue) for any interested high school students in the Acadiana area.

According to a news release, classes will begin at 8 a.m. and end around 2 p.m.

If you would like to participate the sheriff’s office asks that you call 337-788-8721 or 337-788-8722 to reserve a seat. (If there is no answer, leave the student’s name, school, and a phone number)

Students are asked to bring paper, pencils and a calculator.

According to organizers, lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
