Lafayette Parish deputies arrest one, seek another in alleged burglary of business

CARENCRO, La. (KLFY)— Lafayette Parish Deputies arrest one and are now attempting to locate another, authorities said.

According to a news release, on Sept. 26, Lafayette Parish Deputies were dispatched to the burglary of “Angco Disposal & Landfill”.

Deputies said when they arrived the manager stated that he found the business had been broken into and several tools were stolen.

Detectives have now arrested one and are looking for another in the investigation.

A news release stated that William S. Miller was arrested and charged with one count of simple burglary in connection with the case.

Authorities say they are attempting to locate Michael J. Stelly a man who has three outstanding warrants from Lafayette Parish.

Deputies say the warrants include a bench warrant for possession of MDMA, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. The second bench warrant is for monetary instrument abuse. The third arrest warrant is for simple burglary.
