BAYOU VISTA, La. (KLFY)— Meet your St. Mary Parish emergency responders at this year’s National Night Out.
According to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, the free event will have food, music and kids activities on October 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 pm. At the Bayou Vista Community Center.
This year the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the BV Volunteer Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance St. Mary Parish Recreation District #3, Claire House Fairview Treatment Center, St. Mary Parish OHSEP United State Coast Guard, Animal Advocates of St. Mary, Chez Hope, BV Branch Library, St. Mary 911, the 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
Deputies also say a candlelight vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. in memory of victims and survivors of domestic violence.
