LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)—A restaurant in Lafayette has decided to close its doors.
The Lafayette location of Copeland’s of New Orleans had closed its doors on Tuesday.
But management at the corporate office quickly made the decision to open a new restaurant in Lafayette.
The new restaurant will be called Copeland’s Takeout Gourmet Kitchen and Market. The express version of the restaurant is expected to open soon.
The express Copeland’s location will be the first of its kind and the corporate team said they had been toying with the business model for a while.
They said similar concepts in the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
