DeRidder man arrested for criminal trespassing

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY)— A DeRidder man was arrested for criminal trespassing and failure to register as a sex offender, authorities said.

According to a news release, on Nov. 10, Calcasieu Parish Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint at a residence in Moss Bluff. When deputies arrived at the scene they said Jessie D. Bolden, 50, of Deridder was located on the residence’s property without the owner’s permission.

Deputies said they spoke with Bolden, a registered sex offender who was convicted of molestation of a juvenile in Beauregard Parish, and discovered he did not possess his sex offender ID Card.

The card is required by law for all registered sex offenders in Calcasieu Parish.

Bolden was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with failure to register as a sex offender and criminal trespassing.

According to a spokesperson with the Sheriff’s Office, Bolden was released the Nov. 11 on a $1,500 bond.
