Deputies identify suspect wanted for double homicide in Plaisance

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) – St. Landry Parish sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a double homicide in Plaisance back in September.

39-year-old David Miller, of Opelousas, is wanted for two counts of principal to first-degree murder.

Two other suspects, Destiny Jones and Jermarcus McLendon have been arrested on the same charges in the case.

On September 24, 2016, a passing motorist discovered the two bodies of 19-year-old Shawn Parish and 21-year-old Nakia Ramer Jr., both of Opelousas, on Cosay Raod in Plaisance.
