Lafayette Police identify pedestrian killed by train

UPDATE: Police have released the identity of the pedestrian killed by a train this morning.

Corporal Karl Ratcliff identified the victim as 25-year-old Nacoty Robinson, of Duson.

Lafayette Police say that one pedestrian was killed early this morning by a train.

Authorities say they received a call around 2:25 this morning.

The body of a black male was found by a conductor of another train in the 100 block of North Washington in Lafayette.

Police are investigating at this time.
